    [7] Figure 1 describes an instrument case according to the invention and its preferred embodiments. The instrument case 1-2 comprises two vertical, spaced side walls 1-4, 1-6, a front wall 1-8 between the side walls and a rear wall spaced from the front wall (not shown in Figure 1) and an upper surface (not shown in Figure 1) and a lower surface spaced from the upper wall (not shown in Figure 1).
    [8] The instrument cover can contain various instruments such as grounded electrical outlets, timer units, couplers, controllers, a clock, a residual current circuit breaker and a circuit breaker. If an error occurs in any instrument, it is useful to indicate this error situation and / or the error case or the case that contains the error instrument. An alternative to indicating a fault situation is a signal light, which is switched on in a fault situation and which is switched off in a normal operating situation or at rest.

Therefore, it is advantageous to place the signal light inside the case so that it is visible in all environments and conditions. In this case, at least a part of the surface of the instrument cover should be of transparent material, through which the signal light is visible, or of a material which, together with the light source, produces a visual effect to indicate a certain state of function.
    [10] There are several different ways and implementations for arranging the signal light and the lamp which emits the signal light inside a case. According to an exemplary embodiment, at least one of the surfaces of the instrument case is made of transparent plastic and a lamp installed in the case shows light through this transparent wall or surface. the surface in question, part of the surface, the entire surface or a wall can function or the walls in question can also function as the signal light shell. In Figure 1, both side walls 1-4 and 1-6 of the case are made of a transparent material and the walls let the light through the case.
    [11] According to a second exemplary embodiment, the instrument cover 2-2 shown in Figure 2 comprises, as an alternative to the preceding or next to the foregoing, a flange opening, which may be of standard size or according to standard or of standard dimensions, cover flange 2-14 made of transparent plastic or other material, and that the lamp that emits the signal light is installed in protection behind the transparent flange.
    [12] In other words, in accordance with the invention and its preferred embodiments, at least a portion of the surface of the case is made, such as the side wall, lid or bottom of a transparent material, such as plastic or glass.
    [13] The case may contain one or more lamps or groups of lamps, each of which may contain one or more light sources. Different lamps can give light in different tones or light on different wavelengths. The light can be red light or blue light.
    [14] It is also possible to arrange in the case two or more signal lights, at least one of which is outside the case and at least one inside the case. In this case, the outdoor light arranged outside the cover can be used in good weather conditions and the indoor light arranged inside the cover in bad weather conditions. Alternatively, both lights can be used simultaneously or synchronized.
    [15] As the transparent material of the surface of the case, for example, plastic, glass, transparent membrane or a combination of these can be used.
    [16] According to a preferred embodiment, the instrument case is a car heating socket, one or more side walls of which are made of transparent plastic, which case comprises an alarm light inside the case. In addition, lamps can be arranged inside the case in question, such as LED lamps, which illuminate the surroundings of the instrument case, for example the yard during dark times. When an alarm comes on, the red alarm light comes on and the LEDs can go out.
    [17] The above-mentioned case may be a case, such as an instrument case, an electrical outlet case, a control center, a start center or a switchboard, which indicates an alarm with light.
    [18] The instrument case can be mounted on a mounting post, which can be attached to the ground or to a wall. Alternatively, the case can be attached directly to the wall. If the cover is attached to a post, a member 3-20 can be mounted between the post and the cover in accordance with Figure 3, which is arranged to be attached to the cover and the post. The means may, for example, be a ventilation means for removing harmful substances from the vicinity of electrical appliances and in particular for removing gases from the vicinity of a control center. Thus, for example, gases passing along a support foot, which could damage the operation of the signaling device or the apparatus of the case, can be led away from the case.
    [19] The advantage of the invention and its preferred embodiments is that an alarm indicated by the signal light, warning light or warning light of the instrument case is visible even in snowy conditions, for example when snow has accumulated on the case. In addition, an advantage is that disassembly of the case's alarm lamp for malicious purposes is more difficult or impossible, since the lamp is protected inside the case compared to a situation where the lamp is outside the case.
    [20] It will be obvious to a person skilled in the art that the basic idea of the invention can be realized in many different ways, as the technology develops. The invention and its embodiments are thus not limited to the examples described above, but they may vary within the scope of the claims.
